The Problem
Balcony Waterproofing
Balconies take rain all year round. Poor drainage, ageing grout or a failed base membrane easily leads to seepage, damp walls or water marks downstairs. Many owners only notice during the rainy season — by which time water has usually been penetrating for a while.
Typical Cases
- Ponding on balcony
- Leaks after rain
- Damp wall skirtings
- Ceiling marks downstairs
- Grout line seepage
- Leaks around the drain
Our Approach
How we treat it
TileSeal treats balcony floor tiles, skirtings, drain surroundings, grout lines and edges. After assessing the leak source on site, penetrative sealing strengthens the barrier inside the tiles and joints, helping reduce the risk of leaks recurring after rain.
Photos to send us first
A few photos on WhatsApp lets us give you an initial assessment:
- An overall balcony photo
- Close-ups of the drain and surrounding tiles
- Photos of ponding or seepage after rain
