The Problem
Bathroom Waterproofing
The bathroom is the most common leakage area of all. Constant water use, ageing grout, a failed waterproofing membrane or ponding around the drain can all cause the ceiling below to leak, corners to stay damp and floors that never dry — it is also the No. 1 source of downstairs complaints in condos.
Typical Cases
- Bathroom floor seepage
- Downstairs leak complaint
- Mouldy corners
- Darkened grout lines
- Floor never dries
- Shower area leaks
Our Approach
How we treat it
TileSeal treats bathroom tile areas, shower zones, corners, floors, grout lines and common leak points. Penetrative sealing forms a protective layer inside the tiles to help block water from seeping through again; where suitable, no large-scale hacking is needed, so your bathroom is back in use sooner.
Photos to send us first
A few photos on WhatsApp lets us give you an initial assessment:
- An overall bathroom photo (floor and walls visible)
- Close-ups of the shower area and floor drain
- (If any) photos of the leaking ceiling below
Not sure if it's a leak? Send us photos first.
Share photos of the area, your unit type and a short description — TileSeal will take a first look and advise the next step.
